Entry and reception
Visitors form their view of a business in the first few steps through the door. In a small suite or a larger office, that means the entry glass, the mat area, the reception counter and the chairs where guests wait. Each visit clears fingerprints from the glass, wipes the counter and seating, and empties the bins closest to the door.
Your entrance mats belong in the plan as well. Vacuuming them catches grit before it travels down the hallway, which protects the floors in every room beyond the lobby and keeps the first impression consistent from week to week.
Reception is also where clients sit and wait, so side tables, magazine racks and any display shelves within reach get a wipe on the same pass.
Workstations, private offices and meeting rooms
Open work areas get accessible desk surfaces wiped and waste and recycling collected at each station. Cleaners work around papers, monitors and personal items instead of moving them, so let the crew know if any desks should be skipped or cleaned only around the edges.
Private offices follow the same tasks with attention to what the person using the room actually sees: the desktop, the guest chair, the bin under the desk and the floor around it. Meeting rooms are reset for the next day, with tables and chairs wiped, interior glass cleaned and the floor finished last.
Each type of room has its own short list of tasks, set during the walkthrough and repeated on every visit of our office cleaning service.
Kitchens, breakrooms and restrooms
Shared kitchens and restrooms show wear first, so they set the pace for the whole plan. Breakroom counters, sinks, tables and appliance fronts are cleaned on each visit, bins are emptied, and the floor is mopped where drips and crumbs collect around the coffee station.
Restrooms receive their own fixture, mirror and surface tasks, with floors cleaned and supplies restocked, from our stock or yours. In offices with a large team on site every day, these rooms often need attention well before the evening visit, and a day porter can cover that midday stretch.
Floors, every visit and periodically
Floors are cleaned last, room by room, so nothing tracked in during the visit is left behind. Carpeted areas are vacuumed and hard floors are mopped on each visit, with extra attention on the traffic routes that connect reception, workstations and the kitchen.
Deeper floor work runs on a longer cycle. Carpeted offices add extraction and spot treatment through commercial carpet cleaning, and hard floors receive scrubbing, recoating or burnishing as described in our guide to stripping, refinishing and deep carpet cleaning. These visits are booked for evenings or weekends so the office is ready on the next business day.
Separating routine and periodic work keeps each visit focused. The recurring crew handles daily soil, and the deeper treatments arrive on their own schedule without crowding the nightly routine.
What to tell the crew before service starts
The walkthrough sets the tasks and frequency for each room, so the more you share, the closer the plan fits how your office runs. Point out which rooms are private, which desks should be left as they are, and whether the kitchen gets heavy use at lunch or only a morning coffee rush.
Share access details and the hours when nobody will be working, whether that means evening visits during the week or weekend cleaning. If your office shares restrooms or corridors with neighboring suites, say which shared spaces you want included so clients see one standard on the way to your door.
A few useful answers
Quick answers.
What sets the cleaning frequency for a Folsom office?
An office with a full staff every business day usually needs a visit on each of those days. A smaller office that sees clients by appointment can stay presentable on fewer visits.
Will cleaners move things on our desks?
Cleaners wipe the accessible surfaces and work around papers and equipment. Mention any desk that should be skipped during the walkthrough.
Which office tasks run on a periodic schedule?
Carpet extraction and hard floor work such as scrubbing, recoating and burnishing come around on a longer cycle, usually booked for evenings or weekends.
Can shared suite restrooms be part of our plan?
Yes. Shared restrooms and corridors you choose to include are cleaned along with your suite on each visit.
